Relaxation Redefined With IV Sedation in League City, TX

Sedation (A.K.A. anesthesia) can be administered in a wide range from being awake but relaxed (you may have heard of laughing gas) to totally unconscious (general anesthesia). Dr.Pham provides a level of sedation called moderate conscious sedation because the goal is to make you sedated enough to get the dental work completed comfortably all while you are breathing on your own. Dr. Pham may give you commands during the procedure but your response should be slow and care free. Most patient  do not recall much of the events of the procedure.

What Is IV Sedation?

IV sedation, or intravenous sedation, is a safe and effective method of administering medication to induce a state of relaxation and calmness during dental procedures. Unlike other forms of sedation, IV sedation delivers medication directly into the bloodstream, allowing for rapid onset and precise control of sedation levels. This ensures maximum comfort and minimal awareness throughout the procedure.
